Why do IPTV subtitles not appear or show the wrong language?
Subtitles may be missing or incorrect because the stream lacks subtitle tracks, the player selects the wrong subtitle track, or the subtitle file encoding/format is unsupported. Some playlists provide external subtitle files (SRT) that must be loaded separately. Check player subtitle settings, try switching subtitle tracks, or enable embedded subtitles in the app. If subtitles are encoded in a different charset, the player may display garbled text — change encoding settings if available.
